We believe in positive methods of reinforcement.  Children are people with feelings, emotions and tempers, too.  Every child is different.  If a child is having a difficult few moments or even a difficult day, we have ways to cope.  Children respond to understanding, LOVE, Compassion and Discipline.  We believe in providing a physical environment that is safe, clean, healthy and oriented to children of all ages.

Through a balance of self and teacher directed activities, children are able to develop a positive self-concept and self-esteem. 

 

We believe when a mutual respect is modeled between parents and teachers, a child benefits.

Teachers are here to help your child grow NOT take the place of parenting.  Parents are still responsible for their children’s actions and understandings of the world. Teachers and parents working together will accomplish an even balance for all children.

Children learn best when allowed to explore and arrive at answers and understand concepts through their own process of thinking.  Trial and error is an acceptable means of working to make sense of the world.

Quality Educators!

We have a great educated staff with certifications ranging from CDA’s to Associates Degrees in early learning education. Our teachers have CPR, First Aid and the 45 hours State mandated training.  ALL have their FBI and Local screen clearance.  The school won an award from the Community Care Coordinated Care Office and the VPK Office for having the highest minimum standard of teacher credentials. Our teachers and staff have made a commitment to give the highest quality child care and preschool education experience in a safe, loving and positive environment.

Our Staff strongly believes that education begins in the preschool ages and that a positive approach is the best approach.  Using praise creates a good attitude toward learning.  We are dedicated to developing your child’s learning potential and are sensitive to your child’s individual needs.
