Lead Teachers
-
Lead teachers must be able to plan and implement activities for children between the ages of one through five years, consistent with the curriculum guide, resources and training provided.

Develop and implement written lesson plans.
-
Prepare materials and supplies in advance for activities according to the curriculum.
-
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
-
Maintain confidential child classroom folders, by collecting monthly samples of children's work.
-
Implement and develop assessments for each child to determine the child's strengths and areas in which each child may need help.
Assistant Teachers
Assistant Teachers are a fundamental part of our children's education. They assist the lead teachers in the daily management and supervision of children.

Planning and implementing of the curriculum, class schedule and events.

Ensure children are actively engaged in a safe, clean, orderly and stimulation learning environment which meets the social, emotional, and psychological needs of children both indoors and outdoors.

Establish and maintain positive interactions with parents and families.

Be responsible for routine record keeping such as attendance and school logs.

Must have both written and verbal communication skills and follow school safety and regulations.
Job Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Must have a genuine nurturing and caring attitude.

Must have 45 State mandated training hours required by DCF.
-
A Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or at least 9 hours of college in Early Childhood Education.

VPK Credential /Endorsement.
